Book Study Week $5 Assignment

Successfully MidAir Book Study
Week #5

RE-MINDERS:

From Tool #1: Where are you wearing blinders in your life? And are you WILLING to “widen” your field of vision, even if it’s only a tiny bit?

From Tool #2:  In any given situation (both the good-feeling ones AND the painful-feeling ones) NOTICE what you are DOING with your six mental faculties: Imagination, Perception, Memory, Intuition, Will, and Reason. Are you purposely directing them? Are you “leading the team”? Or are you unwilling to direct them, which means that they “run away with you” by default?

Pay attention. What are you doing RIGHT NOW with each faculty? Is the way you’re using it RIGHT NOW going to move you in the direction of your Dream? Or is it going to take you off course?

From Tool #3: Have you been paying attention? How do your “monsters” show up for you? And are you actually dealing with them – neutralizing them as soon as you recognize them? Or are you allowing THEM to stop you from reaching your Treasure?

From Tool #4: What does your “Princess” look like? Are you focusing on “her,” allowing her to fill your attention, making her more important to you than the “size” of Goliath? When your “Goliath” appears to stop you from reaching her, are you letting him win? Or are you choosing your own Sword of Truth and cutting off his head? Are you willing to know that without Goliath, your “Princess” (Your Dream) would not be possible? Can you FEEL the Power in knowing that?!

From Tool #5: What are you doing with your P.O.W.E.R? Are you remembering that Personal Ownership Wins Extraordinary Results? In EVERY situation and circumstance remind yourself of your response-ability, asking, “What am I doing with my ability to respond?”

From Tool #6: Take your steps in faith, and do not allow your doubts and fears to stop you from “winning your good.” Remember, you CAN step forward in faith. You do not HAVE to see the whole staircase. The trick is to remind ourselves that if we “just stand there” either nothing will happen for us, or the choice will be made by someone or something else.

READING ASSIGNMENT:

Chapters 13 and 20

What’s the story that you’re telling? And what’s a different, better-feeling version that you could be telling? Hint: If you’re living something that doesn’t feel very good, there is ALWAYS a better-feeling story to be told!
